Columbia Care is Launching Cultivation Operations in WV



Big news for West Virginia! Columbia Care was just approved from the West Virginia’s Office of Medical Cannabis to have cultivation operations in the state.



They will be opening a new cultivation facility in Falling Waters, West Virginia and will be Columbia Care’s 127th cultivation facilities in the country. As of now they have 95 dispensaries and 31 cultivation and manufacturing facilities in the U.S..


West Virginia has now approved 10 cultivators in the state which will start to meet the demand of medical marijuana patients after having a slow start. The medical marijuana program was approved in April of 2017 and the state is still waiting to see a dispensary open.


Patient registration however is open! This means that those who qualify for medical marijuana treatment in West Virginia can get their card now and can walk right into dispensaries the day they open.
