Expiration Dates For Medical Marijuana Cards Will Be Extended For Patients Who Apply Early

The West Virginia Office of Medical Cannabis has released some big news! The state will be extending expirations dates for patients who register for their medical marijuana cards early.

We can help you with this! At West Virginia Marijuana Card, we are your one stop shop for information on all things marijuana in the state and as well as the top provider of medical marijuana cards.

West Virginia has been extremely slow at getting together a fully functioning medical marijuana program that patients in need can take advantage of. Right now there are no dispensaries open but they will be by the end of the year!

Although registration is open for those with qualifying conditions to get evaluations for medical marijuana treatment, many do not want to get their card in fear of them expiring before dispensaries are open since they typically expire after one year.

Not to worry anymore! If you register by June 30, 2021, your card will be valid for three years total (the original one year plus two extra extension years). This is the best deal that you can get as a medical marijuana patient in West Virginia!

They have added one more date that will qualify you for an extension as well but not for as long as the June 30th date will.

If you register by September 30, 2021, your card will be valid for two years total (the original one year plus one extra extension year). If you register on or after October 1, 2021, the extension will end and your card will only be valid for the original one year.

This is great news for residents of West Virginia who have been waiting patiently for the medical marijuana program to get up on it’s legs! You can register for your medical marijuana card with us here. Don’t wait another day to get the relief that you deserve!
