How To Make Homemade CBD Gummies

Updated: Jul 7, 2023

Edibles are a great way to reap the medicinal benefits of CBD while also consuming a tasty treat. One of the most popular forms of cannabis-infused edibles is gummies. What makes gummies so popular is that they are easy to dose, you can eat them at any time, they do not contain a lot of calories and preserve well over time. But did you know you can make your own edibles right from home? If you’re not an expert in the kitchen, no worries! This gummy recipe is made with only 4 ingredients and you can customize them to your preferred taste.

CBD Gummy Recipe

  • 1 ½ cups pureed fruit of your choice

  • 1 ½ cups water or juice

  • 1 ½ cups unflavored gelatin

  • 1mL CBD concentrate or distillate

  • First, puree your fruit of choice using a blender or food processor and set aside.

  • Add the water or juice into a small saucepan over no heat.

  • Evenly sprinkle the gelatin over the water or juice and do not stir. Set aside and allow it to stand for 2 minutes.

  • After 2 minutes, the mixture will be very thick. Next, place the saucepan over medium-low heat.

  • Allow the mixture to heat and become liquified. Once it has turned into liquid, gently stir the mixture until it reaches a temperature of 165°F and then turn off the heat.

  • Pour the fruit purée into the liquid mixture, whisking well.

  • Add your CBD concentrate or distillate into the mixture and stir until all the ingredients are combined.

  • Use a small pipette to fill your mold with the mixture and then refrigerate it for 30 minutes.

  • Remove the molds from the fridge and count how many gummies you have made. This will help you determine how many milligrams of CBD are in each gummy.

  • Carefully pop the gummies out of the mold and store in an airtight container. The gummies can be refrigerated for up to 7 days or stored in the freezer for up to 3 months.

How easy is that? Now you have a delicious, easy and discreet way to consume CBD and get the relief you deserve.
